Preparing to lead change...

Organisational change has a reputation of being messy and tricky to deal with.  Often the only preparation given to managers, is to be told the theory of change cylces and change processes.

PDx Consulting Ltd believe this approach is not only outdated but unsuccessful.  "Traditional methods of understanding the change process only go so far, they don't deal with the real fundementals of change," says Andrew MD of PDx.

"I believe that to make change stick" says Andrew,  "you have to coach managers to focus on the emotional impacts of change, instead.  Managing and leading change is about becoming aware of the underlying, often highly negative embeded feelings that change processes produce in employees.  And then being able to challenge and reframe these, and encourage people to see things from a different perspective."

" I would like to say a huge thank you for such an energetic, fun and engaging two days. I was extremely impressed with the attitude and positivity, and the willingness to all join in together (D. Kirk - Head of MRB) "

PDx have developed highly specialised, pragmatic and interactive team workshops around managing and leading change.  "I have a wealth of personal experience and expertese  around helping management teams to successfullly manage operational change" Says Andrew.

He goes on to conclude... "Establishing the key principles for the whole team is very important, as is colaboration, ownership, taking responsibility. However the real trick, and greatest impact is being able to shift the mindset and perspective of the whole operation to see change as an opportunity and not a threat!"
