Exploring Leadership Success Factors at the OneCity Symposium

I was delighted to have been invited to present at the 2017, 4th annual OneCity event at the ultra modern and vibrant City of Glasgow College on June 20th.

The OneCity symposium is designed to translate the College ethos of “Inspiration, Excellence and Innovation” through an intensive day of workshops, talks, activities and events. This annual programme is designed to promote a united ‘learning community ethos’ and is aimed at students, staff and stakeholders.

There was a really exciting agenda for attendees that ranges from hands-on sessions like “Have a go at Bricklaying”, Understanding Virtual Reality and fun talks like “Are Aliens Coming to Eat Your Face”, to something a little more serious like “The Neurology of Success – Leadership Development from the Inside Out” from yours truly.

" Excited to welcome Andrew along to facilitate at the fourth annual ONE CITY Event;  really looking forward to hearing some of his new ideas and inspiring insights! Stephen Downie "

I especially enjoy the opportunity to interact with people in education and students alike – it’s an opportunity to “switch-on” some key leadership traits and team player characteristics in this sector and in young peoples' lives.

It is so good to share information with audiences that are interested in learning new ideas, perspectives and approaches. This audience participated readily in the interactive exercises and were engaging and open too.

OneCity was also the public airing of my new book Developing High Performance Teams (now available on pre-order in advance of the formal launch in July.  It was a fantastic opportunity to share and discuss some of the concepts in my new book and how it brings together a variety of ideas, models and development exercises in one place, for the first time.

I deliver 1 and 2-day practical workshops and 4 and 6-day (2 days per quarter) high-performance training programmes alongside one-to-one coaching to teach your leaders, managers, and teams these skills.

For soft skills, development programmes, training, coaching, workshops, NLP for business and team building days please contact me.
