Energising Events - Teaching The HAKA!
I had the honour and privilage of closing a large conference event for Siemens in Madrid.
There were over 800 people there from all over Europe, Russia and the USA too. It was an amazing end to a great event and we lifted the roof of the auditorium.
It certainly helps to have a few people with you on stage as the back up team. Thanks guys - you know who you are.
If you watch the video notice as the camara pans out at the end - you can see how big the auditorium actually was and it was packed. You can also see everyone doing the actions too.
Despite a few people who wouldn't join in, the majority of people just got stuck in and they loved doing this. I suppose it's a bit like Marmite - you either like it or you don't!
This was the second time I have taught The HAKA! to a large crowd at an event. The first time was for another client at an earlier event with 500 people.
Doing it a second time with another client was great because it meant I had a chance to refine it. Practice makes perfect.
We thought that the 800 people might have set some sort of record, however the record is well over a 1000 so I understand - there'll always be another time!!
